Concept and design
Wereldmuseum launched a crowdfunding campaign to support its plans to transform the museum garden into a vibrant green space in the heart of the city Leiden. A place where people can gather, connect, and pause.
For this project, I developed a concept inspired by the collage technique. Collage brings together the most beautiful fragments, carefully collected with attention and care, and reassembles them into a new, thoughtfully composed interpretation and experience.

The human touch inherent in this process, from cutting to reassembling, restores a sense of connection and lived experience, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the museum.
In the visuals you can find vintage prints of Leiden and imagery from the museum’s collection, weaving past and present into a layered, contemporary narrative.
